AELA was pleased to work in partnership with the Griffith University College of Art, to host a Wild Law Art Exhibition in conjunction with our conference in September 2013. The Exhibition featured works by students and professional artists, created specifically for this event, and was hosted in the Project Gallery, Level 2, Webb Centre, Griffith University Southbank (Building S02 on the Southbank campus map). The exhibition was called “Re-Orientation: from Human Centred to Earth Centred”
REORIENTATION – HUMAN CENTRED TO EARTH CENTRED
Staff and students at the Queensland College of Art, through aesthetic forms and images, explored the need to shift from a human centred world view to an earth centred world view. Working a variety of media, art works provided the perfect context for discussions about ethics, law and environmental responsibility.
