WORKSHOP 1 - Building the sharing economy - a facilitated workshop aimed at sharing success stories and mapping out challenges (9.00am to 12.30pm, Room S07_1.23)
Everyone who is already involved in a cooperative or sharing project – and anyone thinking of starting up such organisations or projects – is invited to come along and share their stories of success, and highlight the challenges that we need to tackle together to build the sharing economy in Queensland and Australia. Come along and share your stories, or just come along to listen and learn – everyone’s welcome.
WORKSHOP 2 - Sharing Law Roundtable - a facilitated discussion aimed at building legal and governance support for the sharing economy (1.30pm to 4.30pm, Room S07_1.23)
Lawyers, law students and others are invited to discuss how we might create legal and governance support, to help build the sharing economy. One of the ideas we’ll be discussing is the creation of a Sharing Law Clinic in Brisbane, to help people with legal and governance advice associated with setting up sharing projects.
